I'll give you the moon ϟ: Using Tags

waterfights:

DO post the majority of your feelings in tags. It is fun for those of us that check up on reblogs to read about how you really enjoy the colouring or composition of a graphic.

DO NOT tag posts detailing your hatred of a specific character/actor/celeb with the name of said character/actor/celeb.  The people that track the River Song tag are her fans and your negativity isn’t needed.

DO enjoy the opportunity to be hilarious and even a lil bit creepy in tags.

DO NOT tag a graphic/gif of an actor with every role said actor has played.  Your Colin Firth edit doesn’t belong in the Mr Darcy tag.

DO delete the tags of whoever you reblogged from.  Especially if there is a ‘mine’ tag in there.

DO NOT tag your text posts with celebs/characters just because they appear in the reaction gif you used.  It’s great you enjoy using a Edward Cullen gif to convey how blingin’ your bling is but you’re only clogging the tags for fans.

DO think about others using Tumblr Savior and tag everything you post and not just your original works.  There is nothing worse than being assaulted with faces you actively try to avoid.

DO NOT tag inane commentary better served for Twitter.  I don’t need to check my tacked tags to see that you’ve decided to track that specific tag and figured it’d be great to tell everyone else tracking it.
